TINA RAIMONDI

Tina Raimondi enjoys a versatile career as a performer and teacher in South Florida. Dr. Raimondi became a member of the Pine Crest School Boca Raton strings faculty in 2018 and has been a sought-after private teacher for over twenty years. Dr. Raimondi’s students have received many first place and honorable mention awards at the Florida Federation of Music Clubs “State” Junior Convention, FSMTA’s Concerto Competition, and have been selected numerous times for the Florida Youth Orchestra’s Spotlight Concert. Her most recent private studio graduates are violin performance majors at Lynn Conservatory of Music, DePaul University, and University of Miami. A frequent adjudicator for Solo and Ensemble in Palm Beach County, she has taught string pedagogy at Lynn Conservatory and spends her summers as a member of the artist faculty at the Brevard Music Center in western North Carolina. A member of the Palm Beach Opera Orchestra since 2003, Tina has also performed with The Symphonia Boca Raton, the Florida Philharmonic Orchestra, Michael Feinstein and the Kravis Center Pops Orchestra, the Naples Philharmonic Orchestra, Florida Grand Opera, the Alabama Symphony Orchestra, the New World Symphony, and Minnesota Opera. As a recording musician, Tina can be heard with artists including Barbra Streisand, Barry Gib, Jon Secada, Michael Jackson, and Busta Rhymes.

Dr. Raimondi holds degrees in Violin Performance from the University of Minnesota (M.M. and D.M.A) where she studied with Almita Vamos and Jorja Fleezanis, and DePaul University (B.M) with Mark Zinger.

A registered Suzuki teacher, Tina is the current treasurer and past president of the Suzuki Association of South Florida, where she has been actively involved in running biannual workshops for the past 20 years. In addition, she has taught at the Florida Music Institute in St. Petersburg. She is a member of the Suzuki Association of the Americas and the American String Teachers Association, and her students enjoy participating in ASTA’s Certificate of Achievement Program.
