David Park, is a rock guitarist with more than 20 years of experience and a total of 1,500+ gigs. His career path as a sound engineer in Scandinavia’s most renowned Jazz clubs in the world is quite impressive, especially paired with his 25 years of experience touring as a musician – drummer, guitarist, bass player and in his own project both banjo player and vocalist. He can confidently call himself a touring machine who has toured with the likes of the electro-pop artist Karin Park, glam-rock heroes of Sweden, Space Age Baby Jane and many other bands in different genres. He has been a sound engineer for countless bands including artists like Billy Cobham, Yellowjackets, Mike Stern, Simon Philips, Joe Zawinul and many more…

David grew up on a farm in a small village called Djura outside the hockey town of Leksand. The influence of working on the fields, driving tractors from early age and helping out handling the cattle was the source of inspiration for song titles like David Brown and Hardcore Trucking. The farming chores were alternated with long sessions of Heavy Metal drumming, playing along to Iron Maidens Nick McBrain and Slayers Dave Lombardo.

David has a well-rounded knowledge of the music stage including all aspects of the performance such as handling a soundcheck, mixing concerts, sound and lights, do’s and don’ts on stage as a performing artist, getting great sound out of your instrument, tuning drums, arranging a live show and set, communicating with a sound engineer and many other very useful tips to make your performance become as professional as possible.
